My Nomad Life test-run begins in Paris, very fancy! The initial trigger for that choice was an Aranis concert on the 12th. It went something like this: "Oh look, Aranis plays at Le Triton, I wish I could go... hang on, I *can* go. Mmh, that sounds just right, let's go to Paris. How long should I go for? Mmh, no idea, gotta make sure I'm back in Barcelona to meet Glenn, so let's do two weeks". Followed by booking a flight with EasyJet and a room through Airbnb, sorted!
So here I am, with an intriguing mixture of feelings: excited anticipation (can't wait to start exploring Paris!), a bit of nervousness (what will I do tomorrow? Will my rusty French work? What's going to happen these next two weeks?), and a whole lot of curiosity. But mostly I feel a very peaceful joy. Might be the feeling that I'm staying with a very nice family, or the funky view from my bedroom:
But I think it's mostly this wonderfully vibrant sense of freedom and open possibility.

Is that seriously your view?

Yep, from my bedroom and from the kitchen. These days cooking dinner is rather of groovy. :)

Are you staying long enough to receive snail mail? If that is your view, then please share your host's details with us anyway!

No, it was only two weeks, I'm leaving Wednesday. I'm not going to stay in once place for too long for a while, best snail mail option is Barcelona.
